I just want to watch more of The Magicians

The full moon was so pretty driving home from Zumba class. While driving back, I wondered: what will I do with my night and how productive will I be after dinner?

Honestly, I felt wiped and fired up Netflix after eating; if I could spend my whole night watching The Magicians, I think I would. But I took a break and sketched a little – the water brush is growing on me 🙂

Two sketches done in ink and water brush, one of a pine tree; the other of a couch and book pile

The tree sketch at the top is from yesterday. The bottom from tonight – a view of the futon, kitty blanket (it’s so cold in this apartment, so it’s out for Kimmie to make a bed in), throw pillows, the magazine rack, and my “to be read” pile.

I also made my first pixel art today using Piskel in Firefox. I didn’t make an account or anything – was curious to see how it worked. I think going forward, I’ll stick with Photoshop, but I know there are a lot of other pixel art programs out there. I have only ever tried pixel art a couple of times in high school, so I feel like I have a lot to learn.

I thought I’d use the non-animated one for a favicon for my blog :3

Sooo… I can blog more on here, or I can watch the 2nd season finale of The Magicians. Choices, choices…
